Dr. Nouzha Tazi

(PSYCHIATRIST)

Dr. Nouzha Tazi, MD, is a board-certified psychiatrist specializing in child, adolescent, and adult psychiatry. She earned her medical degree
from the Hassan II Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy in Casablanca, Morocco. Dr. Tazi subsequently coordinated various psychiatry-related research studies at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC). She completed her residency in general psychiatry at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) and a fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at the McGaw Medical Center of Northwestern University/Lurie Children’s Hospital.

Dr. Tazi has extensive experience across a range of clinical settings, including outpatient care and partial hospitalization programs at Rogers Behavioral Health, where she specializes in depression, anxiety/OCD, and PTSD. She also served as an Assistant Professor at the Western Psychiatric Institute and clinics at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. To further enhance her expertise, Dr. Tazi completed a visiting fellowship program in Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation at Duke University. She is dedicated to providing evidence-based, individualized care with a holistic, collaborative approach that emphasizes the overall wellness of her patients.
