A simple Google search for a physical therapist in my area led me to doorsteps of albatross PT. My very first call to the the office was after hours and i left a message and sanjoy called me back very quickly for details surrounding my issues and to confirm questions related to insurance coverage. Albatross Physical Therapy and Wellness is so much more than a physical therapy place! Truly the best team of wellness experts I have found! My experience with Albatross is through bringing my father there for help with upper cervical spine and neck treatments. For a long time my dad was having random dizzy spells, blackouts, occasional falls, migraines that never went away and tons of body pain from being in construction his whole career & numerous surgeries (neck fusion, multiple back & knee surgies, knee replacements, shoulder replacements). We were seeking help figuring out the dizziness and blackouts and went to numerous neurological specialists, numerous cardiology specialists and through the entire DULY medical system and no one had any answers! The specialists seemed to just want us out of the office and didn’t care whatsoever about my dad’s well-being! So I started researching other options and came across Albatross in Naperville. We scheduled a consultation with Dr. Sanjoy Roy and he actually took his time with us and truly went above and beyond in the consultation to make sure all of our concerns were addressed. Dr. Sanjoy was actually able to look over my dad’s medical charts and explain them to us better than the specialists too! My dad has been going to Dr. Sanjoy for a little over a month now and is doing a lot better! Thankfully no recent blackouts, dizziness is tremendously less, his migraines have been decreased and his body pain is feeling much better! Dr. Sanjoy and Albatross Physical Therapy and Wellness has been the single most helpful solution we have found for my dad’s pain and problems. I am beyond thankful for the work that Albatross has done for me. After receiving an arthroscopic shoulder surgery for a labrum tear Noel and Sam have helped me greatly improve my range of motion, strength and stability through various practices such as deep tissue massages, dry needling, cupping, and perfectly curated exercises. Everyone at the office is so welcoming and friendly, I could not recommend them enough!

Sanjoy at Albatross has been a huge light in my world! I have had pain in my middle back (in my spine) for so many years. As Sanjoy has been working with me on manipulating my back, I finally have some relief day to day! He has also given me some ways to be able to cook without having to be in pain while standing. If you’re an mma practitioner or even specifically jiujitsu, I’d definitely recommend seeing Noel. I’ve been seeing Noel for the last few weeks and he’s helped me tremendously with relieving upper body and some lower body pain that unfortunately comes with the sport. He’s VERY knowledgeable, kind, and easy to talk to! He does a very good job with making sure what we’re doing for any pain is working and is quick to adjust the plan if necessary! Definitely recommend him to anyone that may need some help for recovery or injury prevention!

I can’t say enough good things about Albatross Physical Therapy (Wheaton location on County Farm). From day one, I felt truly cared for, both as a patient and a person. I’ve worked with both Noel and Sam, and they’ve been incredible throughout what’s been a long and frustrating journey with foot pain.

I first came in thinking I was just dealing with the typical plantar fasciitis and heel spurs that runners get, which is what another PT clinic had diagnosed after X-rays. But deep down, I knew something else was going on. As an ultrarunner, I’d kicked a rock on a trail back in August and the pain that followed just didn’t feel like typical PF. It would come and go, but never fully healed, even after racing multiple ultramarathons on it.

When I lost insurance the day I was meant to start with the original PT clinic, I soon found Albatross. It was close to home, and after reading about them online, I made an appointment. Best decision I could’ve made. I signed up for a 12-session package (they discount the session rate in purchasing a 6-pack) and began going 3x a week. Over time, the results were amazing and relatively quick. My plantar fasciitis was resolved, my chronically tight calves loosened up, and I was finally feeling better. I loved that they actually taught me how to speed up the healing on the days at home that I did not have an appointment. This showed me that they care about me getting better, not just about appointment dollars.

But what completely blew me away was what happened at the end of my 12th session. I still had this stubborn, mysterious pain on the side of my left foot, the pain that started this whole journey. It was the pain that no one had been able to figure out, not even the first clinic after doing X-rays. That day, Sam was treating me and said, “Let’s get to the bottom of this.” He put me through a full series of tests: lying down, standing, hopping—asked a million thoughtful questions, and really listened. Then he looked at me and said, “I know what it is.” He had figured it out: a dislocated cuboid bone. I was stunned. No one else had even come close.

I came back a few days later, and with this smooth, whip-like motion pop he put the bone back into place. It didn’t hurt at all… and the pain I’d been living with for 7 months? Gone in one swoop. Just like that. It was unreal. I couldn’t believe it actually worked. It felt like magic.

They never gave up on me, never dismissed my pain, and always made me feel like my healing mattered. I’ll continue seeing them whenever something feels off, because I trust them completely. They get to know you and your body so if something is off they can narrow it down rather quickly.

If you’re looking for a place where the therapists truly care about you, your crazy sport, and your super weird unexplainable pain, where you’re treated one-on-one (no being left alone doing exercises you could do at home), and where your entire appointment is focused on you, go to Albatross. I’m endlessly grateful I found them.

I have been to many physical therapy places but this one I would highly recommend . Reason: there was an immediate relief in pain, and soon after it improves mobility also. Combination of many techniques he uses help me a lot . I highly recommend him!

Sanjoy is the ultimate detective! I came in with tight/cramping lower legs and he’s steadily discovering what’s the true cause while helping to alleviate symptoms. I’ve never had a medical professional spend so much time with me…asking questions, instructing me on exercises, and using hands-on manipulation. I mainly worked with Sam and Noel after I had to get surgery on my right shoulder for a partial tear of my labrum. They have helped me build my strength over the last couple of months and I am very pleased with how my shoulder is feeling now! As a volleyball coach, I need my right shoulder to swing volleyballs at my athletes and it’s so rewarding that by following the exercises they want you to do at home and at their clinic, the work definitely pays off! I came here based on the reviews and I continue to go here because of the results. Sam and Sanjoy run a great practice here. They have demonstrated more care and dedication for relieving my pain. Unlike most physical therapy locations who only address one complaint area at a time, APT pinpoints all underlying problem areas and treats them cohesively. I feel truly heard and respected. I have tried so many other avenues of healing and I gotta say no one can top their level of care. Go here, you won’t regret it!

I had doubts about physical therapy from my past experience with pt at other locations. I am extremely happy to say this place really does care for its patients! They work with you one-on-one and I could immediately feel the difference from that type of care. I had such a good experience at Albatross. I’ve been dealing with back pain for years. I’ve tried lots of different types of treatment and I’ve never had long-term success. I was in a car accident and needed Physical therapy for my back and shoulder pain, I was advised by my lawyer to go to Albatross and I’m so happy I did! I saw improvement so fast and loved when it was my therapy days. They have amazing therapeutic techniques some of which I had never even heard of or seen that helped incredibly! I started coming to Albatross because of neck and shoulder pain I was having for months. I found Albatross by googling offices around and this seemed to be the best fit. On my evaluation visit, Sanjoy was very thorough with my exam and explained everything and gave me hope. The entire staff at Albatross is great! I had been seeing a chiropractor for a few years for chronic neck & upper back pain, but came to realize that the massage therapy was better than the adjustments. Finding Albatross has been a lifesaver! They did more for my neck & back pain in a couple of months than I could have ever imagined. Now they’re working on my plantar fasciitis and I’m learning what it’s like to not be in pain everyday. Better than any physical therapy that I’ve ever had before!

They are very professional with on-target diagnosis and treatment options with less pain These are very nice people treating me with full disclosure with wanting my response to be comfortable during appointments. I have fully been pain-free without using meds to heal and keeping a wide range of motion in my shoulder after 1 month of treatments.
