Fernando Viveros
(Physical Therapist Assistant)
After earning both my Bachelors and Master’s Degree of Exercise Science from Aurora University, I continued my education at Elgin Community College, where I pursued a degree in Physical Therapy Assisting. Through my education and clinical experiences, I have had the opportunity to work in a variety of settings, including skilled nursing, cardiac rehabilitation, and outpatient orthopedics.
In addition to my work in physical therapy, I continue to work as a personal trainer. I enjoy helping individuals achieved their fitness goals while help improve their strength, mobility, and quality of life. My experience has allowed me to work with clients with a variety of musculoskeletal and neuromuscular pathologies such as rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, Parkinson’s Disease, and other related conditions. My background in both exercise science and physical therapy has shaped my approach to movement, allowing me to better understand each individual’s unique needs and goals.
I chose Albatross because of the strong connection I felt with its values and approach to patient care. I truly believe that Albatross can help provide some of the best quality of care using a variety of evidence based therapeutic and manual techniques to ensure the best outcome.
Outside of the clinic, you can usually find me working out, watching soccer and enjoying time with my girlfriend, family and friends. I like to bring positive energy wherever I go and do my best to elevate those around me, both personally and professionally.
